Try as I might, the car just doesn't do it for me. Part of it is the looks and part is the "feel" it gives off. So call me crazy, tell me I'm in denial but if $70k was dropped on my doorstep and I was told I'd have to spend it on a car it wouldn't be on that. Despite being impressive as hell with the early numbers. I'd probably spend $15k on my TT in upgrades and the rest on an Ariel Atom for track/weekend playing. Lots of function, lots of form and lots of fun. It's a really weird spot I'm in. I'm very happy for Nissan for raising the bar, pushing technology and putting the competition on notice but the car does so little for me. I really don't get it. Maybe if I drove one...and Nismo comes out with a new front end...and I can get over spending $80k after taxes on a Nissan. I feel like a traitor but damnit, maybe it'll win me over in time. PS - No one is comparing it directly to the Z32 =)
